Got it in my head that this was going to be fun, thought about it all day, and this is what happened when I got home.

Lathe? Dont got one, dont need one........do want one though.

Almost done. This clutch is crazy tunable, you can change the dampeners, the weights, the springs, and spring tension.

Couldnt test it due to the rain, but Ill have another update soon.

Stick a Fork in me. Cut down EBRs

So I got a great deal on a set of black EBR hydros a wile ago... that or I got them for free, I don't really remember. The nice fella that hooked me up with them, made a cut in an attempt to shorten them, only to find that they would end up being a heep of work to deal with. He passed em on to me knowing I have an affinity for wayward parts.

The original cuts that lead to me receiving the forks.
Weld a flared nut into the fork tube upside down..
Grind down the extra weld, fill em with fluid, put in the new bolt, and your done. No way to get the spring out now, but I can still fill and change the fluid as I please. Not to shabby for some cheap as free forks. Should note however that shortening the tubes without shorting the springs did stiffen em up a bit.

Went up for some quality time with the mill this weekend, a great way to start the new vespa project. Every one knows the vespas need more room to breath, and sense I'm to cheep to buy parts, I thought I would make my own spin off of the Simo style cases. Just gota weld em up and cut the window, done and done.

Not finished cutting yet though. If you want to go fast you gota be able to stop, so I went ahead and made preparations for disc breaks on the Si wheels.

Did a quick sealed baring convert to the wheel and its good to go. UPGRAYEDD.
